Roxas likes her and is relieved to see that she's an extrovert. Emerald sure could use some! He's had a little trouble bonding with new Emeralds since Glass got Booked, but her being adamant about him not leaving when he Legacied went a fair way toward bridging that gap. He's gonna go out of his way to talk to her and bond now. (He wanted that already, but now it's more emphatic.)

State of the Roxas?

Flattened by powercap. Emotionally? Flaily as hell but determined to make everything work, dammit! I don't know if you've seen this thread with him and Ven, but that sums up a lot of his flailing.

In other parts of his life, he's extremely determined to a) free those taken by the Darkness, no matter what, and b) to look out for knights, whenever possible. And his current power set is reinforcing him going into protector mode (shields, limited healing, etc) which he's super happy with.

I saw most of it before I descended into bossfightland, yeah. Awww. (Josh would probably gently point out that he and Ven don't have a direct line to each other's hearts, so they kind of have to talk more.)

He's not as powercapped because he was consciously saving strength for emergencies, but still worn out and with about a third of his brain working on strategies for next time. Emotionally he's kind of worried and insecure, but determined to make things work out, and still pretty confident that he did the right thing. (Time will help soothe that, but right now in the current timeline he did just agree to let his boyfriend date another boy, so he's still in the "will this actually work out the way we think it will, are we sure this won't end badly for me" phase of things; it's a new thing and he's nervous about it.) Long-term, he's basically pretty happy with where things are going, confident that Aather is progressing against its enemies and happy that his skillset is useful and valuable in the situation they're in.

How's Clover doing?

Well, she's about to take some bad memories on various Amethysts, so we'll see how that goes. ;; I'm so amused that she managed to get one of her worst sig negs as her second regained memory.

Roxas on being legacy now?

Still weird for him on all counts. On the other hand, it's not as though he'd actually been playing in games (outside of Kitsune's) at all recently, so that's not that different. And having plot events like raids helps keep him busy. It's gonna take weeks for his room to start looking like a room as opposed to a bed and a pile of stuff, though.

What was it like for Josh, when he first legacied?

Lagacying was great for Josh. He and Ven and Mau all legacied at the same time, so they all kind of celebrated together. The fact that he got a ton of skills back was pretty awesome -- he'd been feeling the lack of them -- and having a room to himself was a pretty large bonus for reasons. So he loved it and kept on loving it, basically.

Josh on new(ish?) team babies?

Uh, let's see. Mixed bag full of impressions. He really likes some of them (Phoenix, Alma), likes some but doesn't know how to deal with them (Thorfinn) and has one thread with Chieri in which she made it pretty clear she doesn't want anything to do with him. I assume he has some sort of relationship with Midorima offscreen but the player literally plays only when I am asleep so they still haven't had more than, like, two threads.

In general he's not as connected to his team as a thing as he used to be, but he's also kind of fine with that? The vast majority of his social ties are offteam, and he doesn't play games anymore, and he's always thought team identity was a little dumb (and TE's is in serious flux right now). If Tiger's Eye is like his family, he's reached the phase of his life where he's growing up and leaving the nest. It doesn't mean he cares about them any less, he's just getting more independent and less invested in his team as a concept.

Roxas's ability to easily bond with new Emeralds took a blow when Glass was Booked, but he's still making a real effort. Daiquiri's making the most progress, just by virtue of being outgoing and a little trolly, but he's also fond of Cascade and thinks the new guy (Merlot/Tokiomi) is gonna do just fine, even though he doesn't know him at all well yet.

Did anything particular happen with Josh and Chieri, or is this just her need to prove herself/"I work alone"?

Honestly, I have no idea. XD Their thread was very short and I think she was mad he didn't show up to greet her or something? Or unhappy that people weren't happy to see her since they'd lost a teammate. But I'm just going off the cues I got in the thread, so I could be totally wrong. I also don't know her canon, so.

The impression he got was that she wasn't interested in getting to know him or in accepting anything he was offering, so he's basically just going to wait until one or both of those things changes. He's got too much of a long view by now to really...hmmm. Feel the urgent need to push? It'll work out, he figures, and if not he's well-enough established outside the team that it doesn't really hurt him much if one kind-of-sibling doesn't like him. But he's going to let her make the next move.

Hi, Weird Naked Guy!

Actually, Clover quite likes him. He immediately struck her as someone she could tease without the possibility of him getting his panties in a knot or getting actually upset. He's a total good guy, while still being a little evil, so she's utterly at ease around him. A++ would troll again; would seek out for hangouts.

Hi, Cute Troll Girl!

Which is to say yes, he is also quite fond! all his favorite people tease him sometimes okok. He likes the way she thinks, is seriously considering she might legit be a spy after their current big thread (and wondering how she'll handle that, esp. given that skill is not the happy fun side of spying.) Kind of concerned about her life, but he's Sinbad so this mostly consists of hairruffles and encouragement, and probably eventual serious logistical discussion of how to become more awesome.

Roxas is pretty full of dere already. Sinbad's really easy for him to interact with. Someone who's friendly and a little trolly equals all his comfort pings. Plus he seems invested in helping Aather, asks all the good questions, and generally groks on Roxas's wavelength. This is someone Roxas is going to go out of his way to seek out and try and be friends with. He's also pretty protective of him, between his being a knight in general and the vulnerable state he showed up in. Fuss fuss.
