Or unhappy that people weren't happy to see her since they'd lost a teammate. But I'm just going off the cues I got in the thread, so I could be totally wrong. I also don't know her canon, so.

The impression he got was that she wasn't interested in getting to know him or in accepting anything he was offering, so he's basically just going to wait until one or both of those things changes. He's got too much of a long view by now to really...hmmm. Feel the urgent need to push? It'll work out, he figures, and if not he's well-enough established outside the team that it doesn't really hurt him much if one kind-of-sibling doesn't like him. But he's going to let her make the next move.
